These terms apply to every order placed on truecutmetal.ca. By placing an order you agree to them.
Quotes and orders
Your instant price is based on the file, material, thickness, quantity and services you choose. Before you pay, you see a full breakdown of parts, finishing, shipping and taxes, and you can correct or cancel your order.
We check every file before cutting. If something cannot be made as drawn, we contact you before we start. If we cannot make it, you get a full refund.
Within 15 days of your order, we email you a copy of your order and these terms that you can save and print.
Your files and designs
You keep full ownership of your designs. You confirm you have the right to use every file you send us.
We make parts exactly as your file is drawn. Please check sizes, units, holes and bends before you order. Our design guidelines explain what makes a part cut cleanly.
Design service
If we design a part for you, we confirm the scope and price in writing before starting. Once paid, the finished file is yours to keep and reuse.
Prices and payment
All prices are in Canadian dollars. HST or GST applies as required. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Business account customers may be offered other payment terms in writing.
Turnaround and shipping
Turnaround times are estimates from the day your file is approved. Finishing such as powder coating and galvanizing adds time, shown before you pay.
We pack every order to arrive safely. If parts arrive damaged, email photos to [EMAIL] within 7 days of delivery and we will remake or refund them. Free local pickup is available by arrangement.
Quality, remakes and refunds
Parts are made to your file within standard industry tolerances for the process and material. If a part does not match your file, or has a defect we caused, tell us within 14 days of delivery and we will remake it or refund it.
Because every part is custom made to your design, we cannot accept returns for errors in the file you supplied or for a change of mind once production has started. This does not limit any rights you have under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act.
What we will not make
We may decline any order. We do not make parts that are illegal to produce or own in Canada, including restricted or prohibited firearm components, or parts that copy someone else's protected design.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profit or downtime, arising from parts made to your file.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

Can I cancel my order?
Yes, at no charge until we start cutting. Email or call us as soon as you can. Once production starts, the parts are custom made to your file.
What if a part is wrong?
If a part does not match your file or has a defect we caused, tell us within 14 days of delivery. We remake it or refund it.
Are prices in Canadian dollars?
Yes. Every price is in CAD, with HST or GST shown before you pay. No duties, no exchange surprises.
